Muncie, Indiana, is a community of nearly 70,000 people located in east central Indiana. In June 2004 Money magazine ranked Muncie as one of the top five "up and coming" communities under 250,000 people in the United States. In fact, Muncie has many of the advantages of larger cities without the hassles of living in one.
Plus, Muncie residents have easy access to big cities. Muncie is just 60 miles northeast of Indianapolis. Other large metro areas within a few hours driving distance include Chicago, Cincinnati, Dayton, Detroit, Louisville, and St. Louis.
