Founded in 1872, Doane is Nebraska's first liberal arts and sciences college. More than 130 years later, Doane continues to graduate ethical leaders who serve their communities with distinction and impact the state, the nation, and the world.
As a private, independent, coeducational college, Doane is nationally recognized for its innovative, student-centered, results-oriented approach to education; the wide variety of outstanding programs it offers traditional and nontraditional undergraduate and graduate students across three strategically placed campuses; and the numerous leadership opportunities it provides students. In fact, Doane was one of the first institutions in the nation to offer undergraduate students a four-year graduation guarantee.
