The Graduate School at Ohio State is comprised of university faculty authorized to give graduate instruction (the Graduate Faculty), an elected legislative body (Council on Research and Graduate Studies) and the Graduate School office.
The Graduate School helps fulfill the University’s academic goals by fostering quality in graduate education and research and by promoting cultural diversity in the community of graduate faculty and students. The Graduate School provides leadership in graduate education and research in ways that exemplify the highest standards of the academy and contribute to the reputation of the University as one of the major public teaching and research institutions in the world.
