Webster University was founded as a liberal arts college in suburban St. Louis in 1915; the graduate division was established in 1967. Webster University offers accredited graduate programs in various fields of business, management, education, the liberal arts and science, and the fine arts. Webster is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, and is licensed in the states and countries where we have campuses. Webster has memberships with the following affiliations; American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business; The American Association of Adult and Continuing Education; The American Association of Higher Education; and the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs, to name a few.
Over the past quarter of a century, Webster University has been the leader in serving adult learners, recognizing the motivation and maturity they bring to the classroom. To make higher education accessible to working adults, we offer evening and weekend programs to more than 16,000 students at 92 locations in the United States, Europe and the Far East (soon to be more). Classes are offered in five 8- or 9-week terms per year as an aid to the working adult. These terms allow the working adult to earn a degree with the minimum interruption of career and home life. Webster University faculty combine theory and practice: they are skilled practitioners of the subjects they teach and are adept at helping students learn.
