Oklahoma State University–Oklahoma City was originally a branch of Oklahoma State University–Stillwater in 1961. In 1990, the name was changed from Oklahoma State University Technical Institute to Oklahoma State University - Oklahoma City. OSU-OKC is part of the Oklahoma State University System. Currently students have a choice of over 40 degrees or certificates that would make them competitive in any career field they choose. Traditional semester classes are offered during weekdays. Also 3-week session classes are available during the weekends.
