Located 40 miles south of Tulsa, near the center of the eastern half of Oklahoma, OSU-Okmulgee is a public, state-supported technical institution committed to increasing the potential and productivity of the people it serves.
This occurs through the delivery of high-quality instruction and programs which are consistent with emerging educational and labor market needs. OSU-Okmulgee is one campus of the Oklahoma State University system, and is governed by the OSU/A&M Board of Regents. The other branches are OSU-Stillwater, OSU-Tulsa, OSU-MED also located in Tulsa, and OSU-Oklahoma City.
Thirty-one programs of study lead to Associate in Applied Science degrees, and four programs of study lead to an Associate in Science transfer degree. Bachelor's of Technology degrees are awarded in Instrumentation Engineering Technology as well as Information Assurance and Forensics; a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering Technology will be available in Fall 2005. The campus is known for its hands-on technical education, its world-class equipment and its unique partnership with industry.
