Rice is consistently ranked as one of the nation’s best teaching and research universities. That’s not surprising, since it shares much in common with the nation’s other top universities, including applicants.
Rice University is once again among the nation's best colleges, according to The Princeton Review. The New York-based education services company released its annual review with Rice among the top schools in several categories, including No. 2 overall for quality of life and for race/class interaction. The rankings of "The Best 368 Colleges" were based on a survey of 120,000 students.
