The Talmudic University of Florida, Alfred and Sadye Swire College of Judaic Studies, Yeshiva V'Kollel Beis Moshe Chaim, numbers over 50 Kollel and Yeshiva students. Headed by HaRav Yochanan Zweig since 1974, the Yeshiva and Kollel have significantly impacted the diverse South Florida Jewish community. Rabbi Zweig is nationally renowned for his ingenious originality in Jewish thought and his lucid presentation of the most complex Talmudic treatises. The Yeshiva also takes an active role in the education of the South Florida Jewish community. There are public lectures and study groups available every morning, afternoon and evening at the Yeshiva's main campus. These classes as well as Shiurim given to the Bochurim, are regularly attended by hundreds of people of all ages and levels of Jewish affiliation.
