There has never been a better time to be at Ohio State. We begin the 2006-07 academic year with so much promise. Ohio State is recognized today as one of the country’s top public universities, both for academics and athletics.
U.S. News & World Report recently ranked us among the top 20 public universities in the country. We have moved to 9th place among public research universities in research funding, according to the National Science Foundation’s latest figures. For the 12th consecutive year, we have enrolled our academically best-prepared first-year class ever; 16 percent of these incoming students are from minority populations. Of course, our undefeated Buckeye football team is No. 1 in the nation.
These are just a few of the many, many reasons Ohio State is a great place to work and to earn a degree and have a wonderful university experience.
