The University offers a vibrant campus life for its mainly full-time, residential undergraduate student population. Twelve university residence halls can accommodate approximately 4,100 students, and the rest live in and around the city of Fayetteville.
There are 300 registered student organizations including special interest, religious, international and cultural organizations, as well as honorary and professional service groups. Students may also choose to participate in the UA Greek system, which is made up of 11 sororities and 15 fraternities. In addition, over 6,000 students, faculty, and staff annually participate in the Intramural Sports Program, which offers activities like bowling and table tennis tournaments, and sponsors clubs ranging from aikido to waterskiing.
