Washington Baptist University exists to equip and train committed Christians for leadership in ministries of the pastorate, missions, Christian education, and community life. This preparation includes the spiritual formation of students together with the academic specialization and practical training necessary for serving God in a pluralistic world. In order to accomplish this, the college and seminary brings together a faculty with shared commitment to biblical, evangelical conviction, the pursuit of excellence in teaching and the personal desire for continuing education and research.
