The Yuba Community College District (YCCD) is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (10 Commercial Blvd.; Suite 204; Novato, CA 94949; 415-506-0234), an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Commission on Recognition of Postsecondary Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education. The College is recognized as a two-year institution of collegiate grade by the University of California system.
Its mission is serve students’ educational needs to the extent possible under the State’s legal charge and available funding, providing the environment for students and faculty necessary for the pursuit, communication, and interpretation of knowledge, wisdom, and truth.
